Sight word chants are such a multi-sensory way to practice spelling words. And what more fun than to practice spelling like the animals!
Imitate the animal while spelling each letter of the word, then saying the entire word. For example, if kids draw the kangaroo card they hop in place as they say, “t-h-e the.”
