The 12th Annual International Exhibition for Agriculture, Horticulture, Animal Husbandry & Stock Breeding in the Republic of Kazakhstan AgriTekAstana/FarmTek Astana-2017 was held from 15 until 17 March 2017 in Astana city in the Exhibition center «Korme».Official opening of the exhibition took place on 15 March.

The exhibition AgriTekAstana/FarmTek Astana-2017

was visited by 4 340 people, practically from all regions

of Kazakhstan, and also from 20 countries. At the pie chart

the geography of the visitors is graphically presented.

At the same time the majority of the visitors were pre-

sented by the heads of organizations (directors, presi-

dents, chairmen, head's of the farms) and the heads of

subdivisions (managers, heads of the sections, depart-

ments and etc.).The exhibition also attracted lots of the

specialists of agricultural branch – agronomists, engi-

neers, production engineers, veterinarians, zoo techni-

cians, etc. Students of Agrarian University prevailed over

nonspecialists.

It is clear that the exhibition caused the

biggest interest among specialists such

visitors were 89%. The majority of the

visitors have the very direct relationship to

agriculture that is from the companies

which profile is agricultural equipment,

plant cultivation, cattle breeding, fertiliz-

ers and seeds. From the remaining visitors

the majority was also attracted to the

exhibition by the professional interest,

they were the personnel of construction,

transport and communications, com-

merce, financial structures and etc., which

activities also cover the agricultural

sphere.
