Angelica has been playing volleyball since the 1st grade. She has been fortunate to have been coached and trained by some of the best instructors in the Rocky Mountain Region (RMR).
Since the age of 11 she has been playing volleyball at a high level. The last three seasons her teams have competed exclusively in D1 of the RMR and have won several tournaments.
Her smile can be very deceiving. It belies an intense competitive spirit on the volleyball court. She is hard working, reliable, and very supportive of her teammates. She is a natural leader and leads by example.
She fully understands the importance of the setter’s role and embraces the challenges that come with it.

2011 Private setter instruction with Cindy Bathelt, Setter Coach at Colorado Juniors VBC.
2011 Attended Colorado Juniors VBC Setter Academy led by instructor Cindy Bathelt, starting setter at UCCS and University of Florida.
2012-2013 Private setter instruction with Lindsey Hillegas from CSU and Julia Cawthra from DU, both starting D1 setters.
Accomplishments 2009 Led her Spartans team to Arapahoe Youth League Championship game.
2010 Starting setter and one of only two 11 year olds to make 12-2 team at Colorado Performance VBC.
2011
Starting setter and R/S for Colo-rado Performance 12-1 team that was ranked 1st in Rocky Mountain Region (RMR) and qualified for Junior National Championships in Atlanta.
2012
Starting setter and Captain for Colorado Momentum 13-1 team that finished 3rd in RMR and won RMR Showdown, Classic, and Friendship tournaments. Took 1st place in two doubles tournaments with different partners, The Edge 15U and Rocky Mountain State Games 15U, and placed 2nd/3rd in two others.

Current team is ranked 3rd in RMR and finished 2nd in PWR #4, D1. 1st & 2nd Year Club Volleyball 2010 & 2011
