Designed specifically for American students, the Integrated Path is a comprehensive program that offers ongoing guidance and support as you earn your bachelor’s degree. This 4-year program was developed for non-French speaking students who wish to study in one of Université de Montréal’s 31 undergraduate programs. The main objective of the Integrated Path program is to give you the tools you need to succeed during your academic years. The mentoring program and individual support offered through Integrated Path will help you integrate into your new environment.

Weekly workload A course will normally consist of three hours of class time and six hours of individual work for a total of nine hours a week.

Credits A course generally consists of three credits.

Full-time or part-time To be considered a full-time undergraduate student, you must be registered for at least 12 credits. Most programs are offered on a full-time and part-time basis.

* Courses may be given according to a particular schedule, on weekends, or on a continuous or intensive basis.

Year 1 (Prep Year)You will attend one of Montréal’s renowned Pre-University Colleges, Collège Bois-de-

Boulogne or Collège André-Grasset, to help you get a head start with French immersion

classes, as well as university core courses. The wide variety of optional courses offered

will allow you to build your own curriculum, based on your interests.

After the prep year, you will be fluent in French and ready for the next part of the

journey: earning your Bachelor’s degree.

Years 2-4 (Bachelor Program)At the end of your first year, you can choose to specialize in any one of the 31 programs

offered at Université de Montréal. You can select anything from Human Sciences to

Health Sciences, Pure and Applied Sciences, Education Sciences, Architecture, Urban

Studies and more. Your counselor will advise you on the qualifying requirements of each

program. Your classes and assignments will be in French.

At the end of it all, the UdeM diploma that you earn will attest that you have advanced

French language levels along with your BA specialization.

Your journey towards your Bachelor’s degree

will begin with 1 year at Pre-University College,

followed by 3 years at Université de Montréal.
