This training program is an extensive and dynamic five day course that covers the best practices for assessing, controlling and monitoring corrosion for all E&P subsurface and surface installations including pipelines.
The course is geared to provide enough knowledge on the fundamentals of implementing, monitoring, and maintaining an internal corrosion control program as part of an overall Integrity Management Program. It is an advanced level course focusing on internal corrosion control for oil, natural gas and water handling installations including: wells, flowlines, pipelines, surface equipment, and compression plants. A methodology for internal corrosion assessment is presented. The participant will learn to identify corrosion severity areas along the production system, as well as how production characteristics and flow velocities influence the corrosion severity of the installations. Additionally, participants will learn a field method for estimating the amount of water, flow velocities and flow regimes in wet gas pipelines.
Any person interested in improving their knowledge of corrosion control and mechanisms throughout the oil and gas industry, including but not limited to: Engineers, Managers, Supervisors, Technicians, Inspectors, and Salespersons.
