ANCHOR BOARDS An anchor-board construction

system is disclosed for use as a cladding to replace Conventional plaster based wall board similar to that known in the trade as GYPROCK Gyprock plasterboard is a machine made sheet composed of a gypsum core encased in a heavy duty linerboard. The linerboard is folded around the long edges to reinforce and protect the core. • Gyprock plasterboard products are manufactured from gypsum, paper and a small amount of additives.  Gypsum is a naturally occurring, non-toxic sedimentary rock.• The paper liner board used for plasterboard and cornice is made from 100% recycled newspapers and cartons and the additives are benign materials such as starch and foam.

• The energy used in the manufacture of Gyprock™ is amongst the lowest of any building product

PROPERTIES

Strength & StabilityGyprock plasterboard is a stable building product

when subjected to the normal range of ambient temperatures and humidity.

Thermal coefficient of expansion is:16.2 x 10-6/ºC in the temperature range 4ºC to 38ºC. Hygrometric coefficient of expansion is:7.2 x 10–6mm/mm/% R.H. (5%-90% R.H.). Thermal Resistance ‘R’ is:10mm thickness = 0.06 m2k/w.13mm thickness = 0.07 m2k/w.16mm thickness = 0.09 m2k/w.

applications Gyprock plasterboard is

used as an internal lining board to provide smooth, strong, long-lasting walls and ceilings for homes, offices, hospitals, hostels for the aged, schools, shops and factories.

Partition Walls Gyprock can be used

in standard partition wall configurations for office fit outs, commercial buildings and multi-residential apartments.

PLASTERBOARD CD –RECESSED EDGE

Features Gyprock Plasterboard CD

has Long edges that are recessed to assist in producing a smooth, even and continuous surface once jointed, or in square edge. Gyprock Plasterboard CD incorporates CD (Controlled Density) technology.

Applications Internal walls and ceilings

GYPROCK AQUACHEK

Features It is designed for use in

lining the walls of ‘wet areas’ of residential and commercial buildings. It is encased with light blue/grey linerboard and the long edges are recessed.

Applications Gyprock Aquachek is a

suitable substrate for ceramic tiles.

Usage areas include bathrooms, kitchens, laundries. garages and ceiling applications such as walkways and verandahs.

GYPROCK SOUNDCHEK

Features Gyprock SOUNDCHEK has

been designed to provide increased acoustic resistance in wall and ceiling systems. Long edges are recessed to assist in producing a smooth, even and continuous surface once jointed. The face liner is coloured yellow.

GYPROCKFLEXIBLE PLASTERBOARD

FeaturesGyprock Flexible

Plasterboard has been designed for curved wall and ceiling systems and has an enhanced core to enable bending to a small radius. Gyprock Flexible Plasterboard is 6.5mm thick and is installed in two layers.

Applications Curved internal walls and

ceilings.

Gyprock Impactchek Features Gyprock IMPACTCHEK is high

strength plasterboard designed for high impact areas. It is composed of a glass fibre reinforced gypsum core plus a fibre glass mesh bonded to the inside of the back face. It is encased in a violet linerboard and the long edges are recessed for flush jointing. Gyprock IMPACTCHEK 13mm can be used for fire rated applications.

Applications High traffic areas such as

hallways, stairways, playrooms and garages.

GYPROCK FLAMECHEK MR

Features Gyprock FlamechekMR is

a moisture and fire resistant 10mm plasterboard. It is designed for residential applications in fire risk areas.. The face liner is colored blue/grey.

Applications Usage areas include

kitchens, bathrooms, laundries. garages.

Gyprock Flamechek MR is a suitable substrate for ceramic tiles.
