ClassCancellationsEarly registration helps insure that classes willrun. Registration continues until classes are filled or the registration deadline passes. We may accept registrations after the publisheddeadlineforclassesthathavemetourminimumregistration requirements. The Arts Castlereserves the right to cancel classes if the needarises; you will be notified if your class must becancelled.

IntheeventtheCastleisrequiredtoclosebecauseoflocalorstateregulations,aproratarefundwillbe given. If a class is cancelled due to weatheror instructor illness, studentswill be notified asto the day and time of themake-up class. If astudentisunabletoattendthere-scheduledclass,the student will forfeit the instructional time.Refundsforre-scheduledclasseswillnotbegiven.

Student Work Except by special request, student artwork willnotberetainedpast theendof thequarter.Ceramic artwork must be removed by the posteddeadline.

ParticipantWaiverBy registering for a class, workshop, camp orevent,youherebygrantandgivethisorganizationanditspartnerorganizationstherighttouseyourphotographoryourchild’sphotographor imagewithorwithoutyournameoryourchild’sname,bothsinglyandinconjunctionwithotherpersonsorobjects,foranyandallpurposesincluding,butnot limited to, private or public presentations,advertising,publicity,andpromotion.

Also, you hereby, for yourself, your heirs, executors,andadministrators,waiveandreleaseany and all rights and claims for damages youor your childmay have against this organizationand its partner organizations, representatives,successors, and assigns for any and all injuriessuffered by yourself or your child during anyactivitysponsoredbythesegroups.

Inclement WeatherClass cancellations due to inclement weatherwill be announced on radio stations 610WTVN(AM) and Sunny 95WSNY (AM/FM) and on TVchannels4,6and10.Anannouncementwillalsobe recorded on the Castle’s answering service,whichcanbeaccessedbycalling740/369-2787.Please note: Schools may be closed, but we may be open (or vice versa). Check to be sure.

Refund Policy For cancellationsup to the closeof businessontheregistrationdeadline,a$10processingfeeisretained. Arefundof50%ofthecoursefeewillbegivenifastudentwithdrawsbefore2businessdayspriortothefirstdayofthecourse. Duetocontractual obligations, The Arts Castle will beunabletorefundclassfeesafterthistime. Feesmaynotbecarriedovertothenextseason.Classcreditwillnotbegiven.

UnattendedChildrenPolicyTheArtsCastleisaninstitutionwhereallpatronscan engage in artistic activities safely. However,due to limitations of space and resources, ourstaffand instructorsarenotavailable toprovideadequatesecurityandsafetyforchildrenoutsideoftheregisteredclasstimeframe.Therefore,itisimperative that parents/guardians drop off andpick up children for classes in a timelymanner.Children should be picked up from class within10 minutes of the scheduled class completiontime. In addition, children who visit the centerfor activities such as exhibit viewing and specialevents should always be accompanied by a caregiverorparent.
