Budget and EconomyRecovered jobs lost during the great

recession, and unemployment at its lowest level since July 2008.

Fourth straight on-time budget, and third with a surplus.

$2.7 billion increase in education funding.Proposition 2 on the November ballot

imposes fiscal discipline on the legislature by establishing a rainy day fund.
