MDF COURSE DESCRIPTION Business Model Canvas is a visual framework to develop and improve the strategic and operational aspects of an organisation. It enables structured conversations around management, strategy, customers and services. It inspires creative and innovative thinking. The visual character encourages the use of a common language that supports internal and external communication. In this course we use the Sustainable Business Model Canvas (SBMC), specially adapted to social enterprises and non-profit organisations. MDF COURSE DESCRIPTION

TRAINERS Bart Sutorius works at the Amsterdam Center for Entrepreneurship (ACE), that provides (social) entrepreneurship education at all universities of Amsterdam. He is closely involved with the Canvas-programmes for students at all levels. As a consultant and trainer he also works with Canvas in many other settings, profit and non-profit. Ingrid Plag is managing partner and senior trainer/consultant of MDF Training & Consultancy. She has over 20 years experience in international development, and a solid profile with strategy development, organisational development and change management. Her practical experience with Canvas, in addition to other tools and frameworks, has made her a great supporter of the approach. In this course, she brings in her knowledge of working in multicultural and development-focussed organisations.
