9HCPSS - 2019 Feasibility Study

• Feasibility Study is the initial document identifying options to relieve school crowding using existing capacity.o Some options require sending/receiving student reassignment to access capacity at

schools across the county.o Some options take advantage of available capacity at adjacent schools.

• All Policy 6010 factors are considered, but no one plan can reconcile each school attendance area adjustment with all factors.

• Boundary options presented are focused on alleviating crowding in most crowded areas of the county using capacity at schools with low capacity utilization.o Some schools projected to be crowded are not included because capacity projects

are needed to provide relief.
