P.S. Aeropostale “Spring for Kids” won an Award for Excellence in the Wide Web Classification and P.S. Aeropostale “Happy Fun Day” won the highly coveted Best of Show in the Mid Web Classification in the 2012 FTA Excellence in Flexography Awards.

According to the FTA, “The objective of the award is to recognize outstanding technical achievement in flexographic printing. Technical achievement is defined as exceptional printing that has an extremely high degree of difficulty or complexity. Also considered is the use of techniques, processes, controls, materials, tooling or equipment that is outside the norm and contributes to the advancement of the industry.”

In 2013 over 500 submissions were evaluated on two scales—degree of difficulty and level of execution. In 2012 nearly 500 submissions from every flexographic segment were judged. The awards competition has existed for more than 50 years and reflects the tremendous technological growth and achievement of the flexographic industry.
