The Podkarpackie Province is

located in the south-east of

Poland.

Wysoka - is a village situated to the south from Łańcut.

The village was established in the second half of XIV century by a person called

Otton from Pilcza.

A brief history of school …

First recruitment to school in Wysoka was held in

January 1945. Later on, the school developed. New

investments were made, thanks to which today we can

use an outdoor swimming pool, a playground or a

canteen.

In 1973 the school was named after our national hero

Tadeusz Kościuszko.

This year - 2012 the Middle High School joined our

Technical Secondary School and the two schools

cooperate together as one.

Tadeusz Kościuszko

He was born on February 4th 1746 in

Mereczowszczyzna.

He died on October 15th 1817 in Solothurn.

He was a Polish and American general.

In 1794 Tadeusz Kościuszko was in charge of a

big Polish Uprising.

We learn in three

branches:- hotel industry

- gastronomy

- waiters

Our students learn general subjects, English and German.

They also have vocational subjects depending on their

branch.

In the second and third year of their education they go on

Training for about four or six weeks.

They can go to hotels or restaurants in the mountains, at

the seaside or any town or city in Poland.

Last year they also went to Greece and Mayorka.

Our school cooperates with the College of Hotel Management

and Catering Industry in the city of Poznań.

Thanks to it we can train on the Greek Island of Rhodes.
