What are the U.S. Transplant Games?

• Organized by the National Kidney Foundation• Held biennially since 1990• Olympic-style event consisting of 12 athletic competitions• Special ceremonies and events for living donors and donor families• Participants range in age from 2 to 87• Teams representing all 50 states

Why the Games?

To honor deceased donors, embrace donor families, celebrate the gift of living donation, showcase the

success of transplantation and inspire citizens to become

organ donors.
