Where it started?

• On Feb. 22, reporters and volunteer

divers found about 160 folders of

documents at the residence of former

president of Ukraine.

• They had been thrown in the lake to

destroy them as people were escaping

the compound.

Docs were floating in the lake

Some were burned

Not only docs…

What was done?

• A group of journalists and activists

started to:

–rescue,

–systematize

–and investigate the information

about former owners of the

residence.

• About 15 reporters

were working at

yacht hangar

during first 24

hours rescuing

docs.

• On Feb 23 moved to guest house and started to dry docs using sauna

• The recovered documents started to bepublished on the website to make them available to journalists and people around the world.
