PromptWe will use the prompt as the foundation for writing our essay.

Someone please read the prompt loudly for the group.

Step 1: Interpret the Quote

What does this quote mean to you?Friendships are invaluable, and they make life better for everyone. You do yourself a favor when you make friends with others.

Step 2: Respond to the Think Statement

What is a benefit of friendship? Provide an example.One benefit of having a friend is always having someone with whom you can spend your time, like Kevin and Max in Freak the Mighty.

Step 3: Address the Prompt

Turn the WRITE statement into a declarative sentence.Friendships are important.
