WORSHIP GOD’S WAYAn Everlasting Preoccupation With God

John 4:23-24 “True worshippers will worship the Father in spirit and in truth, for they are the kind of worshippers

the Father seeks. God is spirit, and his worshippers must worship in spirit and in truth.”

Our Raison D'Être “We are called to an everlasting

preoccupation with God.”~A.W. Tozer

Worship is our raison d'être — that is, our reason for being and our highest purpose.

Westminster CatechismQuestion 1: What is the chief and highest end of man?

Answer: Man’s chief and highest end is to glorify God, and fully to enjoy him forever.

Everlasting Preoccupation“erefore I urge you, brothers, in view of God’s mercy, to offer your bodies as living sacrifices,

holy and pleasing to God—this is your spiritual act of worship.”

~Romans 12:1

“I appeal to you therefore, and beg of you in view of [all] the mercies of God, to make a decisive dedication of your bodies [presenting all your members and faculties] as a

living sacrifice holy (devoted, consecrated) and well pleasing to God, which is your reasonable (rational,

intelligent) service and spiritual worship.”~Romans 12:1 (Amplified)
