Welcome to Back-to-School Night

Tonight’s Purpose:

To provide you with specific information

about the goals and expectations for

this school year. Our presentations

should answer most of your questions,

but if some remain unanswered, and/or

you would like to speak privately, please

let us know on the sign-in sheet and we

will contact you.

Student Responsibilities

• Textbooks—Leave them at home (Mom/Dad)

• Workbooks/BINDERS —Bring them to school

– Privilege for 7th & 8th grade students

– Kept in backpacks—keep them safe

Eight hours This is the amount of time most

teens are spending on an electronic device

every single day, according to the Kaiser

Family Foundation. Between phones, laptops,

TV, and tablets, this generation is more

connected than ever before. While there

are many great benefits to technology,

there are lots of advantages to taking a

break from it, too.
