HomeworkHomework PolicyPolicy

Due at time assigned

Students are responsible for completing work to their best ability

Late homework will result in loss of privileges.

Students may not call home for homework, lunch or instruments. It is not parents’ responsibility to deliver such items.

Assigned projects should be completed by the student.

Students will reflect on: Missing or late work Being unprepared for class Inappropriate behavior Lack of participation or being inattentive Not following directions

Three reflections will result in a Shumway low-level communication slip.

Nobody has the right to interfere with the learning, safety, or well-being of another student.

Make-Up WorkMake-Up Work Students have one additional

day, for each day missed, to complete missing assignments due to illnesses.
