2 Grade Bible Presentationnd
Parents and their second graders (no siblings, please) are invited to
join us TODAY, 11:00 a.m. in the Upper Fellowship Hall at the La Vista Site for Bible Beginnings. This
interactive time will help you engage your second grader in this most valuable tool for their faith
journey ahead. Families are encouraged to purchase a Faith Alive Student Bible (ESV) ahead of
time to use on this day. They are available on Amazon or at local Christian bookstores. Contact

Young AdultsThe Young Adult group meets on Tuesday, nights, 7:00 p.m. We will be starting our new study

High School Camp OutThe High School Camp Out is scheduled for Saturday, October 14, 4:00 p.m. to Sunday, October
15, 10:00 a.m. There will be midnight s’mores, praise music around the fire & glow-in-the-dark
soccer & Capture the Flag! There will be NO High School programming at either site on Sunday
morning. Please bring a snack & pop to share.
Baptism BeginningsThis new course designed for parents wishing to baptize their child at Beautiful Savior will be held

ConfirmationConfirmation Rehearsal will be on Sunday, October 22, 12:15 p.m. at the La Vista Site.
We will be beginning with rehearsal in the church first and then finish with lunch in the
Upper Fellowship Hall. A group picture will be taken at rehearsal so ALL confirmands
should attend rehearsal regardless of which site you will be confirmed at.
Confirmation will take place on Saturday, October 28, 10:00 a.m., Sunday, October 29,

Traditional Worship Director SearchThe search committee met on Sunday, September 17 and is actively looking for names through
various local & regional sources to find qualified candidates. Any potential candidate’s names
may be submitted to the church office. Please keep this process & the committee members
(Keith Crandall, Sharon Odom, Matt Shuput, Mary Beideck, Pastors Jim & Ryan) in your prayers as
we seek the Lord’s provision.
Embrace TeachersIt’s time to Embrace our teachers at Parkview Elementary School. Every year our
congregation helps the teachers make sure they have what they need for a successful
school year. Please stop by the table in the lobby this morning and either take a tag &
purchase the items listed or you can also help by donating money. Please return the
items to the container in the coat closet at the La Vista Site by Sunday, October 22. We
hope to fulfill every teacher’s wish list!

Health MinistryThe Health Ministry will be taking sign ups for the Flu Shot Clinic TODAY. The clinic is scheduled
for Sunday, October 8. The next blood drive is scheduled for Saturday, November 11, 7:15-11:00
a.m. in the Upper Fellowship Hall at the La Vista Site.
L.I.F.T.The next Ladies in Fellowship Together meeting will be on Monday, October 9, 12:30 p.m. at
the Bellevue Berry Farm (11001 S 48 St., Papillion) We will enjoy lunch in the Market Roomth

Adult Costa Rica Mission TripWe will be leading another adult mission trip to Costa Rica, Saturday, October 21-Sunday, October 29. Plans for
the trip include working on the Guest House in San Jose. We will be painting, laying tile &
doing some light construction. In addition we will be going to Tirasses to work with the local
churches for some evangelistic events & checking on the progress of the new Community
Center/School. You will have an opportunity to serve Christ, make new friends as well as
witness & be part of the ongoing transformation of this community. No experience or
