Assume

To take for granted or without proof

Example: Don’t just assume that because you want something you will get it.

Persevere

To persist in anything undertaken; maintain a purpose in spite of difficulty, obstacles or discouragement

Example: there is a significant difference between a hurricane and a tornado.
