Applicants to these areas will be assigned to one of the following roles:
Camp Commissioner: The Camp Commissioner is a volunteer who recruits and coordinates the support the commissioner’s staff provides to the units within the Sub Camp. He/she works with the other members of the Sub Camp leadership to meet the needs of the units.
Assistant Commissioners: The assistant commissioners are volunteers who are tasked with working with the units to make them aware of events taking place within the Sub Camp, helping the units and scouts are scheduled to take part in the events/venues they would like to visit. They will coordinate with the various program and event venues to ensure the scouts and their leaders optimize their experience at the Jamboree. There will be other assorted tasks where they can help the other areas within the sub camp to support the units. They report to the Sub Camp Commissioner.
Safety Officer: Is a volunteer recruited by the Jamboree Safety team to ensure the safe operations of the unit sites and sub camp during the Jamboree. He/she will conduct regular visitations to the troop sites, notes safety issues and works to have the deficiency corrected and signed off by the unit adult leadership.
