–Earlier this year I decided that I wanted to join the military.

My Military Plan

• It started off with my ASVAB score of 76.

• Then I needed to decide which branch I wanted to join.

Choosing A Branch

• When I was looking for a branch to join, it was clearly the Air Force.

• They are spoiled.

• It’s the hardest to get into

• And I really want to fly.

Air Force

• I blew past the qualification score of 50.

• Qualifying for all the jobs except one, I had a ton of Job opportunities.

• Air Force.

My Enlisted Job

• My Job I decided to choose was Airborne ISR. Which stands for Airborne Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance.

Airborne ISR

• My job requires me to fly over enemy territory, and identify, and provide Intel to the American ground forces.

During Enlistment

• During my enlistment I plan on getting some higher education.

• Tech school will be where I am trained in my job specialty, for my current job it is 77 days.

• I tend to make not only one, but two degrees, my degree earned in tech school is top secret . But I plan on going for a degree in aerospace engineering.

After My Degree

• I plan to go to Officer School.• Which is 12 weeks of intense training.

• When you are finished, you are a second lieutenant, getting a large pay raise, and command over enlisted soldiers, not to mention, a lot more job opportunities.

• Which opens the world up to my main goal.

Pilot School

• After all of that I want to attempt to go to pilot school, which is covered by the GI Bill.

• It is one of the hardest schools to get into, they’ll usually take people with pilot experience first. Which I have none of.

Pilot

• There is no way of knowing which plane I will specialize in, it just depends on how I do in pilot school.

• I am shooting for fighter jet pilot.

Specifically…

• The F-22 Raptor.

The F-22 Raptor

• The United States is the only country to own the F-22 Raptors.

• The F-22 is the most state of the art, high tech jet out there today.

F-22 In Action

• The F-22 is extremely agile, it can go straight into a 90 degree angle right out of take off.

• It can shoot air to air missiles, air to ground, and even drop a few bombs.
