Trend Forecasting BookBy: Cheyenne Skyy Allen

It’s A Man’s World 2011 consisted of 3 trends that translated into an overall tone down in femininity. Trends like Blazers, Nudes and Neutrals, and Sheer-ness took what could be considered mascu-line things and put a woman’s touch on it.

Fall and Spring 2011

Fall/Winter 2011

Spring/Summer 2011

Sensuality 2012 was all about the figure and how you dress it up. Using the Peplum skirts to excen-tuate the hips, Transparent Maxi’s to show off stunning long legs. Showing off but leaving enough to let the mind wander.

GlimpseMe

Glimpse Me “Glimpse Me” is inspired by the Maxi trend with a twist. Characterized by a Maxi skirt with heavy draping on the sides which is typical-ly seen in gowns, “Glimpse Me’ is the subtly sexy street version of this draping style.

Spring/Summer 2013

The Draped Maxi is a Peek-A-Boo skirt that will give the wearer the comfort they seek as expected with most Maxi’s, but has brief moments where the wearer’s legs are shown when walking. Creating a Romantic and Subtly Sexy look like an updated Grecian style.

Framework Vixen

Framework Vixen “Framework Vixen” is inspired by the struc-tured forms of corsets and gowns, turn into comfortable ready-to-wear with the illusions of those same lines.

Fall/Winter 2013

“Framework Vixen” is inspired by the structured forms of cor-sets and gowns, turn into com-fortable ready-to-wear with the illusions of those same lines.

Rough&&

Uncut

Rough && Uncut “Rough && Uncut” is inspired by Nature itself. Taking raw materials or deconstucted fabrics and instead of finishing them, leaving them as is. Creating a natural rough but beautiful Gar-ment.

Fall/Spring 2013

This Trend could be comprised of Upcycled, Organic, and De-constructed materials going along with the “Go Green“ move-ment. With materials or textures like raw silk, unbleached cotton, and other organic textiles.
