Please be advised that hydrant flushingcommenced in theWest end of Town onMonday October 21st, 2019 and willbegin in the East end of Town onOctober 28th, 2019.Flushing is part of a routine maintenanceprogram that is necessary to maintain theintegrity of the water system, removesediment from water mains, verify theproper operation of hydrants and valves,and maintain firefighting capability.Residents throughout Town mayexperience a drop in water pressure andwater may be rusty or cloudy due toflushing of the distribution system. If youhave rust-coloured water please run yourCOLD WATER TAPS ONLY(suggested taps: outside hose, bathtub orlaundry tub) until the water is clear.Please DO NOT use your hot wateruntil you have clean running water again.We apologize for any inconvenience thismay cause. FALL YARD WASTE PICK UPMonday, Nov 4th to Friday Nov 8th

Yard waste will be collected the week ofNovember 4th-8th, 2019. Leaves, Pineneedles and plants must be placed at thecurb in biodegradable bags no later than7:00 AM on November 4th, 2019.

We will do our best to pick up brokenbags but will not rake contents that havebeen spilled out of bags, it isrecommended not place bags out prior toHalloween night.

Tree branches and other brush will not bepicked up but can be taken to the BaggsRoad Landfill site throughout the year atno charge.

Only one pass will be made for eachstreet so please ensure that you bagsare out ahead of time.
