Step 2. Determine whether you are interested in Google Search Console Data (GSC), Bing Webmaster Tools Data (BWT),

and/or Google Analytics Data (GA).

Step 3. For GSC and BWT get the meta tag from the platform. For GA get the script tag.

Step 4. Paste the tag into the “Website Statistics” section.

Step 5. Validate in the analytics platform.

16

Google Search Console Now you can dig into your data! District 13 recommends using the “Search Analytics” report (under “Search Traffic”).

This will show you which keywords are generating the most click and impressions for your website.

Interestingly enough, Sallie Boggs Toastmasters has a photo that ranks for [toastmasters logo]. However, although we

get a lot of impressions from ranking for such a high volume search query, we gain little qualified traffic from this term.

Simply put - People looking for [Toastmasters logo] are not interested in Sallie Boggs Toastmasters Club.

Another interesting report is the “Links to Your Site” report (under “Search Traffic”). This will show you where a majority

of your links are coming from.

Bing Webmaster Tools If you’re interested, please see data from Sallie Boggs Bing Webmasters Tools account. All of the click are from people

searching terms that contain “sallie boggs toastmasters.”
