When dressing for yoga class, the most important considerations are comfort and fit. As a practitioner, you want clothing that will stay in place through your most challenging and twisted poses, yet you do not want an outfit that will cause you to overheat. On the bottom, opaque legging-style pants with an elastic waist tend to function best. Either cropped or full-length would provide the appropriate amount of coverage.

tops as well. Some practitioners choose a camisole with a looser piece layered on top of it, while others prefer a top specifically designed for yoga. These often feature quick-drying or moisture-wicking fabric for maximum comfort. Regular yoga practitioners typically avoid any tops with buttons, underwire, or belts, as these can get in the way when performing certain poses. Similarly, for both tops and bottoms, minimal seaming provides maximum comfort throughout the session.
