Common Challenges and Solutions Problem: Lack of time Solution: Do short workouts, cut out non-essential
activities, make a schedule, or re-evaluate priorities. Problem: Lack of motivation Solution: Get a workout buddy to keep you accountable
or make a list of the pros and cons of doing physical activity.
Problem: Lack of resources Solution: Choose activities that require minimal
equipment such as body-weight exercise, walking, or community resources like parks and recreation programs.
Problem: Family caregiving obligations Solution: Select activities the whole family can do, such
as group walks, active backyard/park games, or following exercise videos.
Problem: Frequent traveling for work Solution: Look for hotels with a fitness room, join a gym
or fitness club that grants access at multiple cities like YMCA or Anytime Fitness, or pack convenient equipment such as exercise bands.
