AUDIENCE

Person Murdered on a Train- 3 marks

I would focus a fresnel down stage centre on the body of the murdered person to draw attention to the fact they are dead.

I would put a red gel on the Fresnel to increase the tension for the audience.

I would use dim floodlight with a Yellow gel to show the sun is rising and it is morning.

THEN

Do the same for HELL, HAPPY FAERIE FOREST and a CLOWN’S HOUSE

SCRIPT Bedtime Stories By Diana Kolpak Cinderella, the Witch, the Queen and Bluebeard’s Wife are revealed and recite the opening choral od. Some lines are said in unison, others solo, some lines echoed or repeated to enhance the rhythm of the language. All We sing for you For you For you For you we spin our tales. A string of words, a skein of thoughts Move around the wheel. The moon revolves around the earth, The earth around the sun. Over and over the story’s told Over and over the story’s told Over and over the story’s told; An old tale A new tale Opposite sides of the same coin A penny for your thoughts… Laugh with us. Learn with us. Once upon a time…. We sing for you We spin for you For you we spin our tales. Rhythm of the loom. Cycle of the moon. Weaving a story From what you are: Listen… Lights come up on Cinderella, spinning around. The other characters move to the periphery of the playing area. They remain visible, watching the action, listening to the story and speaking their lines form the sidelines.
