Can you believe the Key Club year is already half way done? I am so proud of all the accomplishments everyone has achieved in this short amount of time. Thank you to everyone that attended RTC! I hope that all of the members learned a lot about service and leadership and had thzze time of their lives as well. I had so much fun watching the members learn and cheer together. I cannot express enough just how watching the members learn and cheer together. I cannot express enough just how lucky I am to lead this group of caring individuals. I'll see all of you at Fall Rally in one month!

This was my first time at Haunted Harvest and I really enjoyed it. It was nice seeing the kids, along with their parents, having a lot of fun. I volunteered at the carnival games in the section where they threw bean bags at cans in attempt to knock them down. When they knocked the cans down, they received a prize such as a stamp, a ring, or a bracelet. It was great seeing the bright smiles on everyone and knowing that I helped place that smile on their faces.”on their faces.”

Attending Haunted Harvest made me realize how much volunteering can make an impact on people’s lives. Haunted Harvest is a family oriented event at Springs Preserve; it is very similar to a fall festival. Our school worked at the carnival games area, and we were separated into pairs or groups of three, depending on the activity. My group was assigned the Tin CanAlley game, where kids were to knock the stack of tin cans down using beanbags. Although we had knock the stack of tin cans down using beanbags. Although we had to constantly reset the cans, seeing the smile on kids’ faces was worth it. My favorite part of the day was getting to interact with the kids. I would encourage kids by saying things like “Great job!” and “Wow! Nice shot!” This really seemed to brighten their days. Also, because we were supposed to hole punch people’s programs and there were three people in my group, we rotated jobs. When I took the hole puncher job, When I took the hole puncher job, I asked kids the hole puncher job, When I took the hole puncher job, I asked kids if they believed they could knock all the cans down in one hit. Their faces would light up instantly followed by the response, “Of course I can! It’s easy.” It was the most adorable thing ever. If I ever get the chance, I would definitely do it again."

I am Desiree Galera and I am currently a junior residing at Southwest CTA, and serving as one of your Spirit Coordinators for the 2014-2015 term. A huge thank you to Sheldon and the rest of the Divisional Leadership Team for giving me this oppurtunity to become closer me this oppurtunity to become closer with the rest of our seamonkey community. I hope we can all learn tolive, laugh, and love with one another at Fall Rally and future Divisional events. I intend to help the clubs within our wonderful division interact and grow closer as we work together to win Fall closer as we work together to win Fall Rally South 2014. I hope to see you all soon and work alongside with the rest of our ohana.

Trick-or-Treat for UNICEF began in 1950 as a way to help kids who need more than candy. Since then, children all over America have gone door-to-door on

Halloween with UNICEF collection boxes, calling out, "Trick-or-Treat for UNICEF!" They have raised more than $170 million for the U.S. Fund for UNICEF since 1950.

The Division 28 West Remind is now up and running! I'm so excited to be able to reach all of you in a new way by utilizing this unique mode ofcommunication, but YOUR support is needed to make support is needed to make this work.

Region Training Conference is put on every year by the current Lt. Governor(s) in your Region or combined Regions. At the Region Training Conference you will meet Key Club members from other clubs in your Region. There will be informative workshops on various topics that will help you and the other members of your club. There will be Icebreakers so you can get to know members of the other clubs in the Region. You will leave this onference knowing so much more about Key Club and how to be a more effective officer, leader and member.

It's nice that an event like this may encourage some people who might not otherwise be interested in running to get involved in the sport.When an announcer asked the crowd for whom this was their first 5K, there was plenty of cheering.
