SCOPE

TheJournalofProsthodonticspromotestheadvancedstudy,science,andpracticeofprosthodontics,implant,esthetic,andreconstructivedentistry.ItistheofficialjournaloftheAmericanCollegeofProsthodontists,theassociationthatrepresentsthedentalspecialtyofprosthodontics.TheJournalofProsthodonticsservesbothresearchersandpracticingcliniciansbyprovidingaforumforthepresentationanddiscussionofevidence-basedprosthodonticresearch,treatmentconcepts,techniques,andprocedures.TheobjectiveoftheJournalofProsthodonticsistofacilitatetheeffectiveworldwidetransmissionofnewandinnovativeprosthodontic-relatedresearchandknowledge.Thejournalpublishesoriginalscientificarticlespresentinginformationthatisnewandrelevanttoprosthodontics.Additionally,itpublishesreportsofinnovativetechniquesandclinicaltreatments,systematicreviewsoftopicsofinteresttothefieldofprosthodontics,reviewsofnewinstrumentationandproducts,newusesforexistingmaterial,digitaltechnologyadvancesrelatedtoprosthodontics,instructiveclinicalreports,editorials,andannouncementsofimportancetotheprosthodonticcommunity.
