LITERACY:
In literacy we are completing our own
Explanation Writing pieces, using our new
knowledge of the text type. We have also
learnt about ‘neologisms’ such as the newly
formed word: “SELFIE!”
NUMERACY:
In Maths Groups, we have begun our topic of Patterns and
Algebra— This week’s focus involved the use of addition and
subtraction skills, identifying patterns and continuing number
patterns.
TOPIC TIME: “PCS Meets the World!”
This week our Topic focus was around how and why the Olympic
awards are significant. We were fortunate enough to have our very
own look and touch of a REAL Olympic torch and shirt, as Mrs.
Wigzell’s Dad (Mr. Witts) was actually an Olympic torch bearer
during the 2000 Sydney Olympics! What a great opportunity
for everyone :)

how to set the table, clean up and feed Spider pig the leftovers! Q. Do I wear my school uniform? A: Yes but only your proper school hat! It is important that you wear your
