Today’s information

The kit list• An appropriately sized SOFT bag• T-shirts and wet shoes worn during activities (wetsuits)• Book, cards, travel games….

Valuables• Passport, EHIC cards and spending money stored in safe• Spending money for food en-route only and pocket money• Mobile phones, cameras, ipods etc brought AT YOUR OWN RISK!

Medicines• Plastic bag with name on and details (information leaflet) of medication• Include paracetamol/general pain relief (headaches etc)• Hand in on departure

Outbound: 22nd July• 10.30amArrival at Kingdown to pack

coach (outside Hums)• 11.00amCoach arrives• 11.30am Depart Kingdown• 6.30pm Dover - Calais ferry• 9.00am Arrive at campsite (Monday)

Inbound: 29th July• 8.30 pm Depart campsite • 10.15amCalais – Dover ferry• 3.45pm (VERY approx) Arrive Kingdown

Travel Arrangements

• Follow the leader• Listen to safety brief• Know where staff and meeting points are• Stay in groups• Be sensible – walk, be careful where you sit• Make sure you’re counted!• No alcohol• Do not use the lifts

The ferry

• Move into tents (teachers choose tent groups)

• Breakfast• Welcome talk

– Introduce staff– Run through centre safety

• Activities start!!

• In an emergency do not phone/text anybody (there will be consequences for disobeying this) – we will contact parents
