Physician of Spanish Medical Corps, Honorary Surgeon of King Charles IV.

His name was linked to the expedition that was done to the Spanish colonies in America and Philippines islands (Balmisexpedition is today known) to spread the smallpox vaccine, an important milestone in the History of Medicine.
