Simple Future

Will + V ( simple form)

Be going to + V( simple form)

1 . S + will + V (simple form)

To show the voluntary action, promise, determination, or prediction in the future.

For example I will call you when I get there. (promise) Teacher will be very pleased about our

presentation. (prediction). I'll go first. (Voluntary) You will get punished by me.

( Determination)

Example in real life Example 1 : In addition to warning that the

2. S + be going to + V (simple from)

To show the prediction and inevitability but not promise, volunteered action or determination.

For Example: We are going to win a milion

dolar.(Prediction) we are going to need one more

car.( inevitability)

Example In Real Life Example : We're going to build on top of those two

failures with a system that's based on both of them

going to " because it expresses an event planned the certainty in the future.

Will & be going to "will" can't be uesed

for an event planned

Use "will " in polite requests & invitations.

Ex: Will you turn off the computer, please.

Use "be going to " for an event planned

Ex: He is going to study Math this semester.

"be going to" can't be used in this case

W-H question

Wh (when,what...)+will+S+V(simple form)

Ex: what time will you call her this weekend?

Shall ( another form of will) is mainly used with I or We in question form, but it's very formal in English and very unsual.It has a sound look funny.

Ex: Shall we go to the movies? Ex: Shall I go to sleep early?

Negatives

S + Will + not + V(simple form)Ex: I will not call her this weekend. S + be not + going to + V( simple form)Ex: I am not going to call her this

weekend.In negatives, "will not" and "be not

going to" can be mean refusal.

FUTURE CONTINUOS

Will + be + V ing

Be going to + be + V ing

Express an action in progress at a denifine time in the future.

Ex: At 8:00 Tomorrow, I will be playing basketball with my brother.

Future continuous is also used for an action that will be in progress when another action happens.

While mom's washing clothes, we will be doing homework.

Used for a longer action in the future will be interrupted by a shorter action in the future.

Ex: She will be doing her homework when mom gets home.

Emphasize the duration of a future actionEx: He will be hurting all night long.

Future continuous is not used with non-action verb.

EX: You will be remembering everything. (X) You will remember everything.(O) Present Continuous is often used in dependent

clauses with Future Continuous in the main clause.

EX:As I am doing my homework, I will be listening to music.

EXAMPLE FROM REAL LIFE Example:Next week ,the Presario notebook will be

selling at a price that would normally purchase a less-capable netbook laptop.
