EventFox - Registration Solution

Creating Events

Access the Event Dashboard by clicking ‘My Events’ at the top of the menu.

From here you will be able to create and manage all your upcoming events.

To create an event, fill in the title, type and event dates. Any additional options can be configured later.

To start branding your event page you can select one of the event templates.

Templates can be edited with your own information & branding if desired.

Additional options

Max Number of Participants: Automatically disables registration once the max number is reached.Include Map to Event Location: Creates a map and link in the confirmation emails to allow each registrant to easily find the location. Public Event: creates ical attachments with the confirmation emails and allows discounts to be used for the event.Allow sharing through social media: creates automatic links to share the registration page on Facebook, Twitter, Google+ and LinkedIn.Create a custom event page.

Right click any image to access the properties and update with your own branding, links or edit the size.

Replace instructional text with your own event information.

The event location can be sent to each attendee in the email confirmation.

Street address is required to map the location and provide directions.

If this is a paid event, select the currency and add your event’s price options.

To allow registrants to pay offline, check the ‘pay later’ option and add the instruc-tional text to the form.

Additional options

Pay later: Attendees who choose the pay later option will be marked as ‘pending from pay later’ in the participant overview. Once their payment has been re-ceived, the attendee can be manually updated to ‘Registered’.Price options: If no price set shows up, you may need to create the first one. For a short tutorial on how to create price options, click here. Discount Codes: Discount codes can be added after you have set up the price options that will be used for your event. Activate ‘Online Registration’ to complete the event.

Once saved, the live event link will be available under the menu “Event Links”.

Additional options

Registration Start & End dates: If registration only begins on a specific day, the event can be fully set up in advance and the start date set to automatically open registration on the desired date. Registration can also be closed automatically by configuring an end date.Register multiple participants: If you want to allow one attendee to register on behalf of multiple attendees, check this option. All the information will be re-quired for each attendee, and one final fee added up for all of them. Registration info and additional info: Attendee information can be requested in the ‘Registration’ form. You can request additional info by clicking ‘edit profile’. The confirmation email can be sent to both the attendee and a copy sent to the event managers.

Custom text can be added for additional information or event details.

Automatic reminders can be sent to attendees based on their status.

Custom reminders can be set to automatically send before the event, or as a thank you after the event.

Additional options

When: Reminders can be sent on specific dates, or on dates relative to the event. ie. An alert to all those who are “pending from pay later” could be configured to send [5] [days] [before] [Event Start Date], or a thank you could be sent [2] [days] [after] [Event End Date].Repeat: Reminder can be set to repeat and when to stop automatically.Additional Recipients: Additional recipients can be manually configured to go to specific people (such as sending a copy to all event managers) or to a group of people.

Full HTML emails can be set up in advance for each reminder to include your event branding and links.
