I manage all aspects of a full-service photo studio providing traditional and digital photography to a variety of clients. Working in the studio and on location, tasks include concept, location / model selection, propping, styling, production management, lighting, shooting and retouching. Because of my lifelong work

in photography — and my experience art directing some of the nation’s leading photographers and filmmakers — I am competent at shooting fashion, lifestyle, product, tabletop and architectural subject matters. Photography clients include: Albertsons Grocery Stores, The Vail / Beaver Creek Catalogue, The Squash Blossom, The Cable Center and Aviation Technology Group.

billings that ranged from $1 million to $2 million annually. We produced multimedia campaigns — including radio, television, websites, packaging, corporate identity and print materials to promote products and services to consumers and businesses. Responsibilities included selling agency work to clients; creating concepts and strategies for campaigns; and managing art directors, designers, copywriters, photographers, video and film directors, production people, printers, mail houses and other vendor relationships. Scott Service Advertising received its share of awards, including The Cable Television Award in Marketing CTAM Mark Award in 1992 and 1994, and it was a CTAM finalist in 1993 and 1994. Clients included HBO, Leprino Foods, Liberty Media, AT&T, The Adolph Coors Company, Jones Intercable, TCI, Comcast, and Time Warner Cable. Scott Service Advertising retained relationships with many of its clients for more than 18 years.

I was happy to accept a creative position that would bring me back to Colorado, and Coors was famous throughout the Midwest as the beer we couldn’t buy. Here I managed a creative group of roughly 8 people while overseeing multiple projects.

I was responsible for consumer and trade, print, point-of-sale materials, corporate identity, packaging design, uniform programs, annual reports, truck design, signage, and new product development. Under my management, we launched iconic new products such as Herman Joseph’s, George Killian’s and Rocky Mountain Sparkling Water. Simultaneously, we redesigned Coors Light and Coors Premium brands. Awards included The Edison Award for Successful New Products, New York Art Directors Club Award, New York Society of Illustrators Award, Denver Art Directors Club Awards and Communications Excellence for Black Audiences Awards (CEBA).

opportunity to create ad campaigns for 7up and Sugar Free 7up, as well as Kraft, Sears, McDonnell Douglass, Jovan, Gillette and The Chicago Economic Development Commission. I also conceived and produced TV and radio spots, print and point-of-sale materials, as well as package design and implementation.
