On the rivers in the RS there is now about 25 automatic
hydrological stations, but all of them are under the jurisdiction of
Public institution „Vode Srpske“
At the moment RHMZRS colect data from 4 of these stations in real
time (every two hours)
For the rest of the automatic hydrological station we don’t get data
because there is a two problem:
1. Maintenance is very poor (some stations don’t work)
2. Problem with data aqusition and uploading to the web-site of the
Public institution „Vode Srpske“
Priority :
o Maintenance of existing hydrological stations
o Increase the number of hydrological stations

Also we colect data from 12 more hydrological stations daily and publish
them trough our daily hidrological bulletin and trough our web-site:
rhmzrs.com
On these stations, our observers reads data from water level gauges, and
send them by phone to the hydrological department in RHMZRS
With Hydrometeorological service of Serbia, we have daily data exchange by
phone for five our station.
With hydrometeorological services in SRB we have signed MoU, and as a
product of these MoU we have
• joint hydrometric measurement of the discharge on Una, Sava and Drina
river
• data exchange by request

One month ago, we get MCH data base software.
Before that in hydrological department there is no any data base software
Hydrological data are stored in endless excel sheets
Now we are in process to prepare data in an appropriate shape to be
imported in MCH data base.
The floods in 2010 were overcome historical maximums levels of some
rivers in the Sava River Basin.
This picture is one of the reason why we must cooperate
