REPORT FOR GROUP 2(CLASS G 4.10)

From 27th until 29th October 2014, we, TESL Cohort Three Class G 4.10

students had carried out Program BIG PISMP Ambilan Januari 2013 Perkhemahan II

– Khidmat Masyarakat at Kg. FELDA Soeharto, Kuala Kubu Bharu, Selangor. This

program is aimed to give the opportunity to the students to enhance our knowledge

and create loving, caring, and responsible teachers for the community.

Before the BIG session in the second day, we are divided into Group 2 along

with students from class G 4.4 and G 4.5. Group 2 was divided into several smaller

groups. For our group, class G 4.10, we are required to go to the FELDA Soeharto’s

office and clean the area such as a meeting room, storage room, Surau and the

garden. Our group also divided ourselves into few groups. Our chores includes clean

and arrange the meeting room, paint the fences, clean the office’s outside

surrounding, arrange the tools used for fertilizing, arrange the fertilizer storage barn

and clean a room to be made as Surau.

After we had a short briefing by one of the workers at the FELDA’s office.

everyone proceeded to their own stations. For instance, Mohd Izzat and Mohd Hilal

Fitriwala were responsible to arrange the unused woods piled behind a building while

Hanisah and Teoh Ci Xin were responsible to clean the meeting room.

We managed to finish our tasks before 1 PM. Overall, every member has

shown their best to clean all the assigned areas. The effort made by every member

can be seen clearly after the gotong royong as the surrounding office look better and

the office workers also praised us.

In short, the whole process went smoothly and this is because everyone did

his or her part well and we gave full cooperation to make BIG successful
