RAPHAEL GRASSET PhD French, 22 June 1977 I conduct research at the confluence of human computer interaction, computer graphics and computer vision. I focus on exploring better way to create a more seamless and adaptive interaction between real and virtual world. Over the last decade I have been primarily working on 3D user interface, augmented reality, videoconferencing and visualization topics. I’m a fervent advocate of collaborative research, and been doing both fundamental and applied work, particularly investigating publishing, medical, and art application areas. Beyond project management, publishing and supervising students, I’m also an active software developer, author of open-source and commercialized augmented reality software toolkit and applications. Since January 2011, I’m a Senior Researcher at the ICG, TU-Graz. a: ICG, Graz University of Technology, Inffeldgasse 16/2, 8010 Graz, Austria e: raphael.grasset@icg.tugraz.at w: http://www.raphaelgrasset.net t: +43 316 876 - 5076
