Greater Kennedy Plaza

Replaces an antiquated bus hub with a state of the art facility that connects multiplemodes of public transportation at a single location.

Connects regional to local transit, creating a modern and efficient mass transitsystem, attracting employers and employees from out of state.

Addresses design concerns of State House lawn and Station Park location by placingPITC infrastructure underground.

Replaces controversial existing surface parking on State House lawn withunderground, secure facility directly connected to State House.

Unique opportunity to amortize the costs of required upgrades to the State HouseHVAC systems and implement cost efficiencies through integrated system.

Well designed and well located mass transit facility will act as a catalyst for attractingprivate investment to the surrounding area, including private development on State-owned land.
