Bosnia and Herzegovina is a signatory to international multilateral agreements, "The Vienna Convention on the Protection of the Ozone Layer" and "Montreal Protocol on substances / materials that deplete the ozone layer." Bosnia and Herzegovina has prepared periodic programs of implementation of these multilateral agreements, with plans to gradually decrease the use and consumption of industrial substances / materials. Since 2001. was submitted to the regular annual reports on the consumption of substances that deplete the ozone layer Ozone Secretariat of the UN Environment Programme (UNEP).
