Yogyakarta is capital city of Daerah Istimewa Yogyakarta Province which located in southern of Java island.
Known as Kota Pelajar (Student’s City), Kota Budaya (Cultural City), and Kota Gudeg (Gudeg City), Yogyakarta has captivated a lot of tourist around the world.

Universitas Gadjah Mada is the oldest university in Indonesia, founded 19th December 1949.
Comprising 18 faculties and 28 research centers, Gadjah Mada offers 68 undergraduate programs, 23 master's programs, and 67 graduate programs ranging from the Social Sciences until Engineering.

1) Green Bicycle
UGM provides hundreds of bicycles to be borrowed by students, staffs, or public in campus area.

2) Electricity Fueled-Car
The car would serve disabled people, the elderly, VIP guests and other members of the campus community who were unable to walk or ride a bicycle. The vehicle could travel up to 80 kilometers on a single charge using only 20 percent of the fuel needed by a conventional car.
3) Wisdom Park
An open green area equipped with various eco-friendly facilities, the project is part of the university’s efforts to become a green campus. This project is still being constructed.
4) IR Green Week
We make program to increase the awarness of people (adult and children) about the importance of keeping the environment and your own healthy.
Main program: Fun bike, sustainable development exhibition, green-drawing competition, green canteen, competition, blood donation.
5) International Day of Peace
Each year the International Day of Peace is observed around the world on 21 September. The General Assembly has declared this as a day devoted to strengthen the ideals of peace, both within and among all nations and people.
We celebrate by doing Peace Parade to promote “the peace” among people.
Main programmes: peace parade, peace seminars, charity funds, and human poster.
DREaM (International Student Summer Program)
UGM DREaM 2014 starts with a series of public lectures, internships in several institutions, several social and cultural workshops, and ends with the whole new experience of community service and cultural excursions around Yogyakarta itself.
