November• During Saint Catherine’s Day

men try to fortel their future such as who will be their wife.

Saint Andrew's Day• It is celebrated on 30th of

November.• During Saint Andrew’s Day

women try to fortel their future such as who will be their husband.

• People use wax, cards to fortel their future.

Barbórka – Miner’s day• It is celebrated on 4th of

December.• It is celebrated by miners.• Miners go to church and

miner’s orchestra starts a parade.

Marzanna drawning• It is celebrated on 21st of

March.• Children make a doll and

drawn it in the water to end the winter.

Śmigus-dyngus – Wet Monday• It is celebrated on Easter

Monday.• During that day children pour

other children (from time to time also adults) with water.

Wigilia • Wigilia starts on 24th of

December when the first star appears in the sky.

• It is belived that animals can speak with human voices.

• During Wigilia super there should be 12 traditional dishes on the table.
