• Internet/ Search Engines
Making contact and applying – it’s time to justify your hard work

• Be very persistent – remind the company of your interest
• Log all details (names, numbers, emails, addresses etc.)
• Don’t let any setbacks stop you from looking

The interview – it’s nothing like an interrogation
• Obvious or not, look presentable – it’s your one chance to impress your potential manager
• The company are only looking to know more about you. They understand we are still students

• Make a cover letter template and make slight modifications for each application
• From my experience, placements abroad are incredibly difficult to come by
