Weather
The region is warm and sunny almost round the year. In winter the coldest months are
between mid December to the end of January with early morning and night
temperatures falling to 5 to 10 degrees Centigrade. The days are sunny and pleasant
even in winter. The summer is very warm with the hottest months being April to June
where midday temperatures go over 40 C routinely.
Best Time to visit
October to March is the most comfortable time to visit. This
is just after the monsoon when the waterholes are brimming
and the jungle is lush green. The migratory birds arrive in
Central India and the animals look well fed and have their
winter fur on.
April to June , is warm but as the grasses and leaves dry up
the visibility for photographers improves and waterholes
become hot spots for animal activity. However, chances of
animal sightings remain the same round the year.
Lodge Opening and Closure. The Lodge will be officially
open to receive guests from the 1st of November 2015. Each
year the lodge will be closed during July and August for the
monsoon and maintenance.
