PermaCem 2.0A new generation of self-adhesive luting cement.

Features & Benefits

One of the strongest self-adhesive bond to Zirconia compared to other leading, self-adhesive cements

New resin formulation for excellent bond strength across all substrates

New flexible endo tip for easy access to the root canal for post cementation

Features & Benefits

No primer or etching step needed

Lower water sorption rate for improved esthetics, greater reliability, good control of expansion forces

Drip resistant and easy cleanup and excess removal

Superior compression strength

Superior adhesive strength

Excellent shade stability for long-lasting restorations

Three Generations of Resin Cements

Cements that employ a total-etch adhesive system

Cements that employ a self-etch adhesive system

Self-adhesive cements (their chemical make-up allows them to bond to tooth structure without the need for any preliminary steps)

Van Der Waals Bonding

Occurs between neutral atoms and molecules

Weak Forces of Attraction: Natural fluctuation in the electron density of all molecules and these cause small temporary dipoles within the molecules that attract one molecule to another. They are called Van der Waals' forces.

The bigger a molecule is, the easier it is to polarize (to form a dipole), and so the Van der Waal's forces get stronger, so bigger molecules exist as liquids or solids rather than gases

These forces are due to the electrostatic attraction between the nucleus of one atom and the electrons of the other
