If one side has 15cm. On both sides, and the height is 13cm. And the base is 14- cm. what is the area of this triangle?

15cmHeight is 13cm.

Answer is…

• 91cm.2

Formula=Base x height divide by2

14 x 13= 91cm2

If we want to put a boarder around the star and all the sides are 5.5 cm. How much fabric will be needed?

5.5cm.

Answer is….

• 44cm.

• Formula= Add all sides together.

5.5 +5.5+5.5+5.5+5.5= 44cm.

If we were painting this table, and the length of all the sides are 60cm. How much paint would we need to cover this table?

59 1/2cm.

Answer is….

3,3642

Formula=Length x width

59 1/2 X 59 1/2cm. = 3,364cm2

Ben wants to fill the brick with a poster. This brick is 19x40 cm. how much poster can he put on this brick?

19cm.

40cm.

Answer is …

• 760cm2

• Formula= Length x Width

• 19cm x 40cm= 760cm2

If we wanted to out line this picture with a stream of ribbon. How much ribbon would we need?

11cm.

13cm.

18cm.

Answer is ….

84cm.

Formula= add all the sides up.

11cm+11cm.+13cm+13cm.+18cm= 84cm.
