Marsupials are mammals that give birth to a live offspring in an early stage of the development process. The offspring, really a helpless embryo, is about the size of a lima bean when it is born. The offspring climbs into a pouch in the mother's belly. Here it nurses until it is ready for independence.

Handout
Before Dwight D. Eisenhower became president of the United States of America, he was the Allied Commander in Europe during World War II. The memories of warfare would haunt Eisenhower for the rest of his life. During his presidency, the United States and the Soviet Union were waging a Cold War and a nuclear arms race which led to fear, suspicion, and misunderstanding between the two nations.
“I believe the people want peace, indeed, I believe that they want peace so badly that the governments will just have to step aside and let them have it.”Dwight D. Eisenhower in a British Radio Address
