Few & FarBetween
The school day isn’t what makes Westside unique. It’s what happens after we zip up our backpacks and run into the hallways during passing pe-riod.
Forcing your way through a group of Freshmen boys huddled in the landing.
Sighing when the website you want is blocked by tech support.
The smell of popcorn coming from the ET IMC on Fridays.
Falling asleep in APUSH large group. Everyone participating in Durty
Week during finals. Having your own Breakfast Club
with your friends every Tuesday mods 2-4/5.
These experiences don’t happen at any other school. They are what make Westside unique. They are why West-side is a school that’s Few and Far Between.

Student Life
The school day isn’t what makes us return every morning for 8:00. It’s the relationships and the opportunities this school provides us that make us grudgingly get through the day.
When a twitter war breaks out over the Prep v. Westside rivalry. Traveling overseas on the Spanish trip to Spain. “We need to talk” the most terrifying text a per-
son can receive. It usually means one thing, break up.Spending hours making signs to hang on home-
room doors for Cheer. Decorating for Homecoming until midnight. Two kids finally having their first kiss- A flurry
of differing emotions a first kiss is awkward, ex-citing, and wonderful all at the same time.Knowing that when you walk into Wheatfields
on any given Sunday you will see at least three Westside kids working.
These things my not be directly related to our academics, but they are all still an essential part of our learning. They make everything worth it and they prove that this school is Few and Far Between.

PeopleWestside has many students whom show
exemplary work, determination, and cre-ativity. These are the people that make Westside unique and special. These are the ones who put Westside on the map and do their best to keep us there.
The room on signing day bursting with excitement. The claps and cheers after a solo at Cab-
aret Night. Standing ovations for an outstanding
spring play lead performance. Seeing a Westside student in the Spelling
Bee on national TV. Westside DECA sweeping four events at
the state competition.
These moments and many more are what make Westside a school that’s Few and Far Between.
