A Letter from the Editor
Dear Key Clubbers,
Happy October! October was filled with
many great events including the annual Fall
Rally, Haunted High School and Autumn Festival.
The District Board as well as the club officers are
excited to work on the District Project. We plan
to alleviate hunger in New Jersey by holding
food drives during these upcoming holiday
months. Please feel free to tell us some of your
ideas on how we ca contribute to the District
Project by emailing us or visiting us in the AG
room for small chat.
Have a spook-tacular Halloween!
Yours in caring and service,
Christianna Pepingco

Battle Buddies
Key Club officers were asked to assist Veterans’ at a tour
in Washington D.C. Key Club officers Mandy Chan. Alex
May0, Naa Quaye, and Christianna Pepingco served as

that would last a lifetime.
Thank you, veterans, for all that you have sacrificed for
our country!

Fall Rally! On October 11,
more than 2,000 Key
Clubbers across New
Jersey gathered at Six
Flags to kick off the new
service year.
This year’s theme was
“Oh, The Service You’ll
Do!”, and the District
Board dressed up as
Dr. Seuss characters as
they shared this year’s
goals. Our very own
Mrs. Meissner spoke as
the Keynote speaker
and shared a message
about hunger and how
her job as NORWESCAP
director helps those in
hunger each and every
day.
The day was overall
a success as Key
Clubbers bonded with
each other.

Haunted High School
This year’s
Haunted High
School theme
was Under the
Sea! Key Club
members
dressed up as
sea creatures
and helped
children in arts
and crafts.
